About Sivonian Sivonian is an extremely conservative Western Romance language spoken by the people of Sivonia. Most closely related to Italian, Sivonian nevertheless shares many features with both Spanish and Ecclesiastical Latin, which provided a great deal of borrowings during the Sivonian Reawakening (a movement in the late 1600s to return to the language's Latin roots).
